Our Story

Mr. Ramesh Chand Thakur is the founder and owner of JMDTC, a reputable transport company based in Ropar, Punjab. He comes from Chandi Kashlog, Darlaghat, Himachal Pradesh, and began his journey in the transport industry on 31st July 1992 in Darlaghat with just two trucks and a strong determination to succeed.

In 2002, he expanded his work to Maharashtra, gaining hands-on experience in logistics management and large-scale transportation. In 2003, he returned to Punjab and formally established JMDTC in Ropar.

Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily and now operates a fleet of over 300 trucks. JMDTC is proudly associated with major clients like Ambuja Cement Factory in Ropar, known for its reliability and punctual service.

Mr. Thakur is supported by his son, Himanshu Thakur, who serves as the Second Founder of JMDTC and plays a key role in the company’s operations and development.
